The Air Force One Experience has landed at National Harbor, Maryland’s 300-acre waterfront development along the Potomac River. “The Flying White House” replica was built to educate visitors on the presidential office and inspire young visitors to get involved in the world of politics, which is why Teacher Tuesdays were created. Every Tuesday from 3pm-6pm teachers and their families (a maximum of 6 people) can enjoy The Air Force One Experience free of charge! When you visit, just show your school ID to the staff member working check-in to get your tickets. We appreciate our educators who work hard to open the minds of our youth, and we want to show that appreciation with a FREE Air Force One Experience! Parking fees are not included.
While exploring this amazing replica of Air Force One, you can take a fully immersive tour guided by Sergeant Howie Franklin, Air Force One’s head flight attendant for 18 years. He will take you through the entire experience, telling you stories of America’s history and showing items of significance along the way. Make sure to bring your cellphone and headphones to participate in the tour.
Experience what it’s like to line up at the nose for mid-air refueling of a jumbo 747 with the flight simulator. Take an iconic presidential photo boarding the plane and waving to the country. Pose in the presidential motorcade- a genuine limousine and two presidential town cars. The Air Force One Experience offers the complete presidential treatment, from the motorcade to red carpet. Learn about America’s history in an exciting and immersive experience. Interact with kiosks around the experience and check out secret service memorabilia up close. This family-friendly experience is a perfect way to get even the youngest patriots excited and interested in America’s democracy.
Air Force One experience is also available for school class trips, private educational programming and special occasions, corporate events and private events.
